Job Description
Interacts with multiple internal departments and direct with customers to provide information and ensure the best customer service possible. Communicates with customers to obtain order information, general requests and provides assistance in the absence of Sales Admin. managers. Acts as a liaison between planning, engineering, finance, operations, logistics and other internal departments. Refers complaints of product or service failure to appropriate departments for investigation. Coordinates customers service needs with other departments as required to ensure customer service.Order maintenance within the SAP system across all product lines. This includes order entry, credits, debits, returns, invoices and Document Management System (DMS) management.Understand the basics of Titanium manufacturing including material processing and documentation flow.General understanding of specifications and manufacturing best practices. This would include industry specifications, customer specific requirements, and export regulations. Assist sales managers as needed in the development of quotations, customer status requests, quotation follow-up, production deviations, documentation requests and audit compliance. The communication will include electronic, telephonic, conferences calls, meetings and customer visits.Maintenance of all departmental logs and tracking files. These logs include quotations to customers made outside of normal contractual requirements, deviation offerings/dispositions and export shipment activity.Communicate cross functionally with multiple departments including planning, operations, finance, logistics, Info Systems and legal.Creating and manipulating spreadsheets for data clarity and tracking as required.Maintain business unit commercial files, soft and hard copy alike. Provide assistance and other duties within the commercial department as required or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a 2 year degree is preferred.Experience level should be minimum of 2-5 years in customer service, accounting, IT, or similar.Proficient in MS Office Applications such as Office, Word, Excel (especially pivot tables), PowerPoint, among others. Knowledge of SAP a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as strong clerical and organization skills required.
