Job Description

ENSCO's APA Division provides innovative customized products and services vital to national safety and security. One of our primary focus areas is the development of sensor systems for multipurpose signal collection, processing, and analysis. We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to assist in the design and development of custom Android software. The successful candidate will work with team members who possess diverse backgrounds (systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, geophysics, etc.) to create unique sensor systems. The candidate will have the opportunity to immerse him or herself in the ever-changing environment of cutting edge technologies that are key to our business. Qualification Required
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent.
-Minimum 5 years of professional experience developing software applications.
-Strong background in Android application development.
-Strong background in Android kernel development.
-Recent leadership of a team of software developers.
-A self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills.
-Ability to interface with all levels of internal management as well as program sponsors and sub-contractors.
-Works well independently, with strong self-direction and initiative, as well as within a team structure.
-Experience using version control and software release procedures.
-Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance.

* Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Qualification Desired
-Experience reverse engineering software applications.
-Experience implementing network communications.
-Ability to work under tight time constraints with changing requirements.
-An active Secret clearance is desired; an active TS/SCI clearance is strongly desired. Division Description
The Advanced Projects and Applications (APA) Division performs diverse technical work and leading-edge research in the areas of signal exploitation and sensor systems, data fusion, modeling and simulation, information systems, and provides SETA support in engineering, acquisition, test and evaluation, intelligence, and net assessment.
