Job Description

This position is contingent upon contract award.
ENSCO Avionics, Inc. has a requirement for a Software Verification Engineer to perform unit level verification activities against embedded C source code to ensure that the avionic safety requirements of DO-178B Level B/C and/or Seal Level 1/3 certification standards are properly met. This will involve being part of a verification team that will create test plans, test procedures, and perform a number of different review activities. Qualification Required
Some formal academic or technical training in an advanced field of scientific/technical study.
Minimum 6 months of related experience in the following:

- Avionics verification field
- Training or hands-on experience with C
Ability to work 50+ hours per week if necessary
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Candidate must be a self-starter and work well in a team environment that is process oriented
High level of professionalism and work ethic
U.S. Citizenship Qualification Desired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (CS) or Software Engineering (SE)
- Any Assembly Programming background
- Training or background in Embedded Systems Development
- VectorCAST experience
- Experience with Low Level testing on the target hardware; Integration testing, which is a higher level testing process, would also cover this requirement Division Description
