This position is responsible for supervising a work group of skilled craftsmen who maintain, repair, and service site equipment, buildings, and facilities. The group typically works on projects involving new construction, building alterations and upgrades, and maintaining and troubleshooting heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment. Personnel typically reporting to the incumbent are: electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and HVAC mechanics. The incumbent typically has 8 to 10 years experience in a specific craft or in facilities maintenance, and at least three years as a supervisor.

Achieve Maintenance schedule through scheduling of material, manpower, and equipment. Barriers include material availability, manpower resources and accuracy of information

Implement operating cost reduction via continuous improvement teams, tools, and methodologies. Ensure effective utilization of manpower, machines, materials and methods. Barriers include material availability, labor resources and capital resources

Utilize GPP Foundation and 6 Principles to communicate, coach, and manage associates.
Minimum Required Qualifications: 4 year Bachelors Degree. Minimum of 5 years experience in a specific craft or in facilities maintenance, and at least three years as a supervisor

Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Lean, machine shop experience, maintenance experience, and supervision experience.
