2019-GS: Senior Software Engineer

This position is contingent upon contract award.
ENSCO's GeoSystems Solutions (GS) division has an immediate need for a Senior Software Engineer. We are seeking a skilled individual to perform the software design effort and implementation at our Melbourne, Florida location. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Design and develop software under minimum supervision
- Translate user requirements into working, testable software
- Create unit and integration tests
- Participate in group peer reviews Qualification Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of software development/architecture experience using Java
- Experience in multiple software development lifecycle phases, including scope and proposal, analysis, design, and software construction
- Demonstrated experience interfacing directly with customers on projects
Hands on experience with the following:

- Java, Soap, Jax-ws, JEE, EJB, Perl, Bash, Linux, GWT
- Object Oriented and J2EE design patterns
- Version control and software release
- Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary Security Clearance
