* a Level 1 Help Desk Technical Support \. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Richmond, Virginia \.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Global Combat Support\-Army \(GCSS\-Army\) Program\. The selected candidate will work in a 7 X 24 X 365 environment, meaning night shift and/or weekends\. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people\-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other developers\.

* Roles and Responsibilities
*
* + Provide Level 1 Help Desk production support through the Remedy Help Desk application for the deployed SAP ERP System\.+ Work to resolve end user Level 1 trouble tickets \(functional\)+ Compile Help Desk metrics/statistics for reporting purposes\.+ Maintain list of frequently asked \(FAQs\) and knowledge base help references for all help levels\.+ Interact effectively with Government users and program management, as well as protect members and management\. Communicate status to the relevant team leaders in accordance with program procedures\.+ Must be able to work in a 7 X 24 X 365 environment, meaning night shift and/or weekends\.Basic Qualifications:

* + Be completing or has completed their degree \(Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD\) from an accredited institution; it must be no more than 1 year if the degree has already been obtained\.+ Not have professional work experience in their field of study \(excluding internships, co\-ops, or research studies\)\.+ Be majoring in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems\.+ Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3\.25/4\.0 or higher \(unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile\)\.+ Be able to obtain a U\.S\. Government security clearance \(U\.S\. citizenship is a pre\-requisite\)\.Preferred Qualifications:
