span Title: Java Quality Engineer III br Location: Boston, MA br Duration: One Year Contract br   br Description: br Design, develop and lead Stubhub's next generation QE initiative. As part of QE team, ths individual will be responsible for the oversight and development of broad testing framework / unit, functional and integration testing. br Be able to articulate, evaluate and evangelize testing strategies (including TDD, Test-First Programming, and Acceptance Testing) and apply them in Stubhub's context as well come up with metrics for realistic testing effort estimation. br Would be actively involved in low level code testing. Part of the code base includes: Application and Component Frameworks, Presentation Infrastructure, Database Access Layer, Services Infrastructure including SOAP, Caching Systems, Common Rules Engine Services, Logging, Static and Dynamic Configuration Services and various Deployment Models. br Work with engineers, managers, Product Management, QE, Load & Performance, and Operations teams to develop innovative testing solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to testing goals and principles. br Estimate testing effort, prioritize projects, plan implementations, and help rollout system changes.Help define, and supervise the testing of complex, multi-tier distributed software systems and impacted domains that provide value-add from site quality perspective. br Identify process, technology challenges and deficiencies that need to be addressed and drive those changes to successful adoption. br   br Top Requirements: br 1. Strong java programming skills, backend unit testing and automation br 2. Able to work with developers closely and review their code. br So prior developer experience will help really well. br 3. Understanding of software cycle life br 4. Good communication skills br   br Preferred: br Strong communication and basic logical thinking is great. br The top requirement preferably is that they are from a good university educational background. More than years of experience, this matters. br   br   br Interview process: br   br Round 1 : Technical phone screen – 1 hour br Round 2 : Onsite interview by QE, developer, manager and product – Approximately 3 hours after vetting the candidates in Round 1 br Round 3 : Final interview with the manager br /span
