MUST BE US CITIZEN Job Description:Provides Operations and Maintenance of Citrix NetScalers to include Web Application Firewall(WAF), load balancing, and Citrix Access Gateway configuration. Assist in troubleshooting accessissues to web applications, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments, and other services.Work with website administrators on load balancing and WAF implementation and changes.Identify WAF signatures that break a website s functions to the appropriate website administrator.Provide input to Architecture and Engineering teams on NetScaler configuration. Daily review oflogs for any issues and to ensure functionality is maintained. Assist with maintaining the Citrix VDIenvironment when required. Responsibilities also include creating and improving procedures andother duties as assigned. Primary duty hours fall between 0700 and 1700 with shift work requiredto assist with after-hours maintenance activities.Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, andsupportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels oftotal system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation,maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or productrequirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and costconstraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirementsallocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware andsoftware specifications.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical disciplineExperience working with Citrix NetScalers.Knowledge of/Experience with the following: Networking technologies, load balancers, switches, routers, and the OSI Model.Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory 2008/2012, Windows 7/10, TCP/IP, DNS, and experience working in a Citrix XenDesktop environment to include XenApp 6.5 and 7.5.Candidate must have completed and be enrolled in Security+ Continuing Education (CE) certification, CISSP, or equivalent.Candidates must have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance. Preferred Qualifications:Citrix Certification such as Citrix Certified Professional - Networking.VMware ESXi 5.5 or 6.0 or other Hypervisor experience.Remedy Experience a plus.Experience working with DoD Customers.Good technical writing & verbal communication skills are required.
