JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Description
ABC Insurance Agencies, a National General Insurance company, is currently hiring for a Sales and Service Agent. This position is responsible for handling inbound Sales telephone calls as well as Service calls regarding underwriting, marketing, billing, and endorsement inquiries from current and potential insureds. These inquiries would include providing rate quotes and selling new policies, cross-selling other products, documenting calls, researching, calculating billing amounts, analyzing and processing policy transactions and correcting company records. This position also requires outbound calling required to follow-up on sales leads or additional customer information. This position will require working in a team oriented environment and meeting key performance metrics such as sales, productivity and quality requirements.
* Prior sales experience. Previous experience in a customer service/sales contact center, processing center or retail environment is advantageous.
* Candidates should demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, proficient key-boarding skills, strong organizational and time management skills; and above average math skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office desired. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment is a must.
* P & C license is required
* Agents license or insurance background is also a plus.
