Daily Verification of insurance, explanation of insurance plans to patients
Daily identification of patients
Entering charges, entering diagnosis codes, entering physician name
High volume of phone call management, taking messages, resolving problems
Reception and greeting
Other duties as required for the operation of the Family Health Center
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Previous skills and training as an access service representative in the Meridian Hospital System
Fluency in Spanish preferred
Previous health-care registration experience
Must have strong customer service skills
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
Must be literate in the use of a computer
