The main purpose of the accounting clerk is to support accounting operations by filing documents; reconciling statements; running software programs.
? Minimum 2 year degree in Accounting or finance. 4 year BS degree preferred
? Strong computer knowledge- Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, accounting software and other software systems
? Willingness to work in and be part of a team
? Ability to work under pressure and deadlines
? Organization and strong attention to detail
? Financial Software
? Reporting skills
? Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
? Reconciles bank statements by comparing statements with general ledger.
? Maintains accounting databases by entering data into the computer; processing backups.
? Verifies financial reports by running performance analysis software program
? Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations
? Accomplishes accounting and organizations mission by completing related results as needed
? Other duties as assigned
