Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION(S) Provide exercise planning, exercise execution, air operations replication, exercise after-action support, and joint subject matter expertise in support of the Green Flag Support Element (GFSE) using their knowledge of joint air ground operations, exercise instrumentation and debriefing systems, and multimedia construction and presentation capability. Will operate in a team environment training and exercising joint air ground operations with USAF and U.S. Army personnel. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Specific Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
:
Assist with JNTC, HHQ, and other air-ground integration exercises planning and executing. :
Provide 24-hour ASOC emulation and assist with constructive CAS emulation throughout exercise battle cycle. :
Assist with development and collection of exercise data. :
Provide battle tracking and general field support to AGOS military members deployed to ranges. :
Provide expertise to adjudicate air-to-ground delivery and ground-to-air (air defense artillery [ADA], surface to air missile) battle damage assessment (BDA). :
Collect, collate, analyze, and prepare data for post battle after action reviews/debriefings. :
Collect, collate, and prepare data for use in take-home exercise packages. :
Assist in preparation and delivery of aircrew in-briefs for GREEN FLAG exercises. :
Observe joint exercises via instrumentation systems and provide battle tracking expertise and assistance, airspace deconfliction/safety of flight issues, BDA, ADA adjudication, and implementation of the exercise rules of engagement. :
Collect, collate, and prepare instrumented, analyzed post-battle information and provide expertise to track trends relating to air-ground integration issues. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Capable of working independently and with the demonstrated knowledge, skills and expertise in their respected disciplines necessary to perform all assigned duties. :
USAF Air Liaison Officer (ALO) or USMC Air Officer (AO) experience or :
Tactical aviation experience with minimum of 7 years experience in close air support or :
Operations analysis with a minimum of 4 years experience working close air support :
General understanding of military C2 operations pertaining to close air support mission area. :
Proficient using Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. :

Bachelor's Degree required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Air Support Operations Center (ASOC) experience highly desired. :
GREEN FLAG Support Element experience highly desired. :
Exercise collection management background desired. :
Army Fire Support System knowledge desired. :
Desired knowledge in Joint fire support, C4ISR integration with maneuver warfare, Joint test and evaluation or training development. :
Knowledge and understanding of Joint training tasks and Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) accreditation and certification desired. :
