Job Description

Regular/Temporary: Regular

The Global Performance Group (?GPG?) is responsible for the compilation, analysis and reporting of performance investment data for all products within Merchant Banking (Real Estate, Private Equity, and Infrastructure). GPG serves as the one centralized consolidation source that aggregates all products around the globe in order to generate firmwide reporting and key measures.
Scope of Responsibilities:
-Responsible for quarterly Investor Reporting and key metrics consolidation processes. Preparation of Fund level and Client specific reports using financial statement data, cash flows, returns, and attribution analysis for key products such as MSREF and Prime Property Fund
-Assist in managing relationship with consultants representing large institutional investors ? 300+ Consultant Questionnaires per quarter. Prepare and validate questionnaires
-Perform analytical review of Asset Management Business Plan data for quarterly investment valuation process. Work with regions to resolve anomalies an issues
-Operate as a financial data help desk catering to executive management and clients requests, often with urgent turn-around times required
-Ad hoc client requests, questions and analysis
-Track requests in GPG case management log, ensure completeness
-Special projects, new fund marketing (Pitch books), annual investor meeting materials
-Interact with Fund Controllers to obtain data and assist with analysis
-Manipulate large amounts of data from a variety of sources, conforming to reporting requirements and formats
-Load and validate source data into GPD system, perform analytics on key metrics
-Assist in researching, developing, documenting and implementing firmwide policies/procedures, company standards, and reporting methodologies related to firm-wide reporting
-Special projects working with the IT department on creation of new systems, databases, applications and enhancements to existing systems/databases
-Significant involvement with enhancement and new requirements development in GPG?s database
-High exposure to multiple disciplines within the company and participation in high profile reporting to executive management

-Exhibit a strong sense of urgency, accountability, ownership, and follow-up of projects
-Possess a polished professional demeanor
-Proactive and self-motivated (a go-getter)
-Flexibility in working well within a fast-paced dynamic environment
-Proficiency in excel

Educational/Experience Requirements:
-Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance from a known and accredited institution
-Approximately 1-3 years of relevant experience.
-Customer service oriented in dealing with 3rd party and internal ?clients?
-Experience in financial statement audit or partnership accounting/finance
-Strong work ethic and positive attitude
-Self-starter, manages time well with minimal supervision
