Job Description
Regular/Temporary: Regular
The Global Performance Group (?GPG?) is responsible for the compilation, analysis and reporting of performance investment data for real estate products. GPG serves as the one centralized consolidation source that aggregates products around the globe in order to generate performance reporting and key measures.
-Prepare, analyze, and report performance data for client real estate products, globally. Perform analytics and validation of investor data: Commitments, Cash Flows (contributions and distributions), and components of Fund and Investor level NAV (income, appreciation, fees, etc), composite IRRs; and Asset data: Calculation of AUM sliced/diced by diversification
-Responsible for monthly and quarterly processes to generate reporting to senior management and clients/investors and key metrics consolidation processes. Preparation of Fund level and Client specific reports using financial statement data, cash flows, returns, and attribution analysis for key products.
-Perform validation controls to ensure efficiencies and mitigate risk, as well as ensure proper usage of data in reporting
-Assist in preparing and validating 300+ Consultant Questionnaires per quarter.
-Prepare analyses in response to ad hoc requests from management, client and investor/consultant, often with urgent turn-around times required
-Serve as a subject matter expert and consultant on technical aspects of complex fund accounting, finance, and operational aspects for real estate products, globally
-Responsible for responding to external RFP?s, industry publications and marketing materials
-Integral role in on-going Global Performance Database projects: definition of new requirements for enhancements, UAT, and implementing into Production
-Prepare and analyze data included in biannual investor meetings
-Liaise with the following departments: fund controllers, investment controllers, investor services, capital transactions, asset management, corporate reporting, legal, marketing
-Assist in researching, developing, documenting and implementing product-wide policies/procedures, company standards, and performance reporting methodologies
-Manipulate large amounts of data from a variety of sources, conforming to reporting requirements and methodologies
-Load and validate source data into GPD system, perform analytics on key metrics

-Proficiency in Excel and other windows-based software (Excel formulas, macros, pivot tables)
Educational/Experience Requirements:
-Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance from a known and accredited institution
-Approximately 1-4 years of relevant experience, public accounting and/or non-public accounting industry experience
