The ideal candidate will be a seasoned quality engineer with experience in automotive components manufacturing. Connector molding experience is also required. This position is based at our Winston-Salem, NC facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
TE Connectivity in Winston Salem, NC is looking for a Quality Engineer, to participate in process analysis, APQP, new product/process validation, design reviews and safe launch with cross functional team. Serve as Voice of the Customer for the launch team. Analyze project risks across value stream, develop risk mitigation plans across the value chain for flawless launch of new programs. Develop cost effective solutions for recurring problems with a keen focus on continuous improvement. Manage digital initiative efforts for improving productivity and efficiency as directed. Lead continuous improvement initiative process and system. Develop, train and direct colleagues at different manufacturing locations within the U.S. and Mexico to attain a world class quality organization. Lead and coordinate Customer Concern Resolutions during project launch phase. Establish and maintain communication between customer and trouble owner for new program launches. Perform Internal Quality System Audits.
Travel required: 30% domestic and international.
