Your mission as our ARM Firmware Engineer in Austin, TX is to provide the initial support during ASIC development with bring up of technologies such as DCBX (Data Center Bridging Exchange Protocols) and FCoE Initialization Protocol (FIP). Gain hands on experience with cutting edge Virtualization Cloud services and RoCEE networking protocols. You will work closely with a team of highly talented host software and firmware engineers to develop an enterprise class solution for our next generation products, furthering our leadership position in the converged networking arena.

Skills you bring to Emulex:
-C language programming and knowledge in Assembly-Exposure to storage and network technology a plus!
-Exposure to one or more of the following protocols either professionally or as a graduate project: TCP/IP, Ethernet, FC/FCoE, Fibre Channel, RDMA,iSCSI, RoCEE or Infiniband-Experience with network analyzers and logic analyzers is a plus!-Knowledge of PCIe desired
