ASP.NET / VB.NET Developer



Cincinnati company is seeking an experienced ASP.NET / VB.NET Developer.



Job Description:



Work closely with end-users to develop internal applications as well as external web based applications and services. Code and solve problems in VB.NET using Microsoft Visual Studio and .NET framework. Work as a team to take business requirements and develop a complete business solution.





Responsibilities:

Translation of functional requirements documents into technical design specifications.

Development of solutions for a variety of complex problems.

Help in the design, implementation, verification, debugging, optimizing and maintenance of all new and existing software packages.

Ability to adapt to new technologies.

Develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

Write SQL stored procedures; perform database queries and analysis.

Job Experience:

Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Visual Studio.

Proficient in VB.NET.

Proficient in SQL Server (developing stored procedures, performing database queries and analysis).

Experience with web applications, web services and GUI development.

Understanding of relational database concepts.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills.

A strong desire to learn new technologies
