ASSEMBLER, MECHANICAL

Adecco is currently looking for a Mechanical Assembler to work in the Pinebrook area.

The Assembler will use their skills and knowledge to complete the assembly of custom packaging machinery with a focus on the mechanical aspects of the assembly process. This individual will work as part of a team under the direction of a Service Manager and/or Shop Supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS

. Skilled in the use of appropriate hand tools, shop equipment, testing and measuring devices

. Read and assemble to applicable prints, documentation and standards per documentation and company standards

. Demonstrate a working knowledge of basic electrical & mechanical components

. Ability to work independently or as part of a team to assemble machinery


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

. Responsible for efficiently assembling packaging machinery utilizing company procedures, ranging from above average to difficult complexity

. Proficiently read assembly, mechanical blueprints and reline as necessary

. Fit and align machine parts such as shafts, bushings. Mount plates and frame members according to blueprint specifications

. Examine machinery to ensure that accessories and parts, such as nuts, bolts and chains are securely mounted

. Meet or exceed the scheduled expectation expectations for assigned work

. Maintain an orderly and clean work environment, which includes carts, shop equipment and surrounding areas
