JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Dermatology, invites applications for a full-time academic Dermatologist. Responsibilities will include holding general dermatology clinic, conducting inpatient consultations in the outpatient and inpatient areas of University of Chicago Medicine, scholarly activity and teaching our residents and medical students.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in medical education, have prior relevant clinical experience, and possess excellent clinical judgment and skills. Applicants are required to have a medical degree, be BC/BE in Dermatology by the time of appointment, and be eligible for licensure in the State of IL. Preferred candidates will have a sub-specialty and demonstrate an ability to direct and implement a specialty program. The search committee will consider publication record, research interests, and evidence of commitment to clinical care, teaching, and research. Opportunities for leadership positions may be available to candidates with appropriate skills or experience.
