Academic Support Coord
Reporting to the Assistant Director for Academic Programs, the Academic Support Coordinator will provide academic support and rousstudents with academic resources. The Coordinator will promote the academic success of all students across programs. Responsibilities include planning ahead for required services; creating written guides to resources available; providing direct services to students in the areas of information literacy, research, academic coaching, and writing; managing any part time or peer tutors; ensuring that students have effective access to Main campus resources in the areas of academic and library support; providing students with needed training or support to effectively utilize the course management system; arranging for students and faculty to have access to all needed library resources; monitoring and reporting on students' satisfaction and utilization of all academic resources. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least two years of related experience in higher education. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
* Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
* Must possess excellent organizational, oral and written communications skills, as well as an attention to detail.
* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work as part of a team.
* Strong customer service skills along with the ability to interact with a diverse population.
* Master's Degree
