JOB DESCRIPTIONThe University of Chicago's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks an Academic Physician to join a growing Urogyneocolgy/Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Section. Responsibilities will include maintaining an active clinical practice, including offsite clinics; maintaining a steady surgical volume; and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the Section's research program.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified individuals must: (1) have completed an accredited fellowship in Urogynecology; (2) be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology; (3) have or be eligible for an active Illinois state medical license; and (4) demonstrate a strong commitment to academic medicine and patient care as well as resident and medical student education. Academic rank and salary will be dependent upon qualifications. The position includes a generous package of fringe benefits.
