Job Description Summary

The Account Director represents the client's real estate interests in the marketplace by developing, recommending and implementing strategies regarding utilization of the portfolio, acquisitions, dispositions, terminations, renewals, rental rates, taxes, costs of operations, etc., for leased and owned property. Work with Client business units as appropriate to gain an understanding of how real estate can best support the strategic direction of the business and manage internal and external resources in the delivery assets that facilitate same.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



* Responsible for all account activities related to the company's largest, most important client(s)/customer(s).

* Develop a real estate plan/strategy for Client's portfolio.

* Understand scope and manage delivery of services to be provided, including transaction management, project management, lease administration, and other services as applicable.

* Manage customer service delivery profit and loss - adjusting resource load, scope and client compensation to ensure a fair and reasonable ROI.

* Identify/generate organization wide service delivery standards, benchmarks and performance metrics.

* Build CUSHMAN & WAKEFIELD internal structure required to optimize service delivery, including information systems, technology platforms, and personnel resources.

* Monitor Timetables - ensure timely initiation and delivery of services

* Maintain and enhance client relationships

* Manage financial performance of the Portfolio including managing internal billings / budgets, monitoring vendor compliance with SLAs, and reporting on key performance indicators internally and with client.

* Manage major, national, or global accounts to cultivate relationships, identify opportunities and increase contract revenue.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE



* Experience in managing a team and driving performance and process

* 10+ years applicable experience with 5 years assigned to national or strategic real estate accounts preferred.

* Real Estate License, MCR and/or SLCR designations preferred

* Demonstrated successful experience in an account management position that involved developing and identifying solutions for the client and negotiating complex transactions with upper-level management positions, or similar experience.

* Bachelor's degree required, ideally in business administration or a real estate-related degree.

* Skilled in developing growth strategies at targeted accounts.

* Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, and function specific software.

* Proven record of achievements in Transaction Management with high deal volume over a wide geography

* Extensive knowledge and experience in resource allocation and implementation concept.
