JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY As the Account Executive for a territory of 7-10 enterprise accounts, you will own the account relationship and lead the sales team for some of Microsoft's largest customers. Teamed with the Account Technology Specialist, Services Executive, and other specialists, you will be responsible for the account planning and execution necessary to achieve the customer satisfaction, revenue, and strategic goals of the territory.
Roles and responsibilities: Build trusted advisor relationships with key senior business and technical decision makers. Act as the resource broker (STU, Industry Specialists, MCS, Solution Specialist, MCS, Premier, Partners, Partners, Product Teams, etc.) for the account. Own, Communicate and Execute Microsoft's long-term strategy for the account to core Microsoft objectives including revenue attainment, strategic industry wins, and other metrics. Accurate salesforecasting is a key part of this role. This position is the leader for a variety of initiatives ranging from industry solutions to direct contract negotiations with the customer. The candidate is responsible for identifying customer requirements and providing feedback to management and appropriate industry and product development groups at Microsoft. The successful candidate must be able to articulate the business value of Microsoft solutions versus our competition, align to customer key strategies, and achieve success through teamwork across multiple organizations.
Qualifications include: 5+ years successful enterprise solution salesexperience with enterprise accounts; a thorough knowledge of Microsoft's and/or competition's enterprise information technology products, services, support offerings, and contract negotiation expertise. Software licensing expertise is a plus. Executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of both the customer's and Microsoft's organization are required. Candidate must be able to clearly articulate the business benefits of Microsoft's solutions; use proven analytical skills, well-rounded business experience, and exceptional teaming, communication and presentation skills. They must possess a high commitment to customer satisfaction, and have a proven track record in the development and maintaining of executive level relationships in previous accounts.
Candidates should also be knowledgeable in strategic planning, risk analysis and business justification. Candidates should also possess strong collaborative teaming abilities, exceptional leadership skills, and have a strong commitment to customer service. Exceptional verbal and presentation skills are required. BA/BSdegree is strongly preferred and an MBA is a plus. Limited travel is required.
