We are seeking an aggressive, talented candidate located anywhere in the region as noted with recent and proven successful softwaresalesexperience with a tenacious approach and high desire to succeed with recent experience calling on the higher education(universities, colleges, etc.) space for this exciting opportunity:

Position title: Account Executive-Higher Education

Location: West coast region(CA/OR/UT/WA,etc.)

Position description:

We are seeking a candidate with a recent and proven track record of selling software solutions to customers in the higher education sector. The successful candidate will acquire expertise in a number of different technology areas and be able to use this knowledge to present solutions to these new customers. The qualified candidate will be a strong farmer and will sell into a group of existing accounts with existing revenue throughout this geographic territory.

Required skills:

5+ years prior experience selling software based solutions into large enterprise level accounts throughout the region.

Recent experience selling application software to the higher education(universities, colleges, etc.) sector required

Ability to present a business value proposition to C-level executives. Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills

Recent and proven success in meeting and exceeding quota

Self-starter with the ability to manage complex sales into large enterprises

An action and results-oriented approach which balance a "take charge" attitude with teamwork and collaboration. An ability to work with prospects to develop strong business solution cases coupled with solid closing skills.

Experience executing call plans, orchestrated account-planning sessions and effectively executed account strategies.

BA/BS degreepreferred
