ABOUT THE POSITION Our Naples, FL Events & Hospitality team is looking to hire a highly organized, hard-working individual to join them in the role of Tournament Coordinator. Working directly with the Event Director as well as the event staff, this position will be heavily involved with the day-to-day preparation and execution of a limited field LPGA and full field PGA Tour Champions event held in Naples, FL. Great opportunity for golf enthusiasts to work in a job where they can be around the game of golf!

Role & Responsibilities:
Manage all tournament merchandising, volunteer uniform, pro-am gifts and staff uniforms
Work with Event Director to help manage budgets, focusing on invoicing and billing
Manage hotel rooms and player requests for both events
Respond to general event inquiries (dates, event schedule, ticket prices etc.)
Assist with implementation of special projects & other partnership extensions in community
Prepare, and proofread professional correspondence and sales decks
Assist with ticketing and fulfillment for sponsors and general public
Various administrative duties
Carry out assigned tasks with limited supervision, including coordinating and implementing projects
Assist with compiling tournament overview book at close of event
Other related duties/projects as assigned

ABOUT YOU Bachelors Degree
Proven success in building positive client relationships as well as managing up and down
A desire to manage partner relationships including vendors, suppliers
Previous collaboration experience with internal and/or external groups
Desire and confidence to become a presenter of materials to clients
Experience managing and maintaining a budget or budgets
Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve and work effectively under pressure while working as both part of a team as well as independently
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
Excellent written and verbal skills and ability to communicate clearly and professionally. A writing and PowerPoint assignment will be a part of the hiring process
Proficiency with Microsoft Office with the possibility of specific skill set depending upon position (i.e. PP, Excel)
Collaborative in nature with a no job is too small attitude to assist with overall account team duties and additional programs as needed
Ability and flexibility to travel and weekend/holiday work as needed approximately 25%
