TVI's InterSense© line of motion tracking products is widely viewed as the industry standard for precision motion tracking in high-performance simulation and training and is widely used across both military and commercial markets for various industrial, educational, scientific and recreational applications. Together with TVI's head-mounted display business line, Thales Visionix, Inc. is rapidly becoming a recognized leader in the development and production of personal situational awareness systems for use in aerospace, defense and industrial environments.","The successful candidate will possess a unique blend of account management and business and technical acumen, big-picture vision, and initiative in order to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
The Accounts Manager will be responsible for strategic business growth, key account management, opportunity capture, business forecasting, and other related business development functions. The Account Manager will be part of a fast-paced, high-performance Business Development team covering sophisticated electronic systems in military and industrial applications. The candidate will be required to deeply understand the motion tracking industry and the representative government and non-government markets.
Additionally, the Account Manager will be required to work with cross-functional teams across all areas of the company, including: operations and programs teams to convert orders to sales, engineering project teams to define product release requirements, and senior leadership to define go-to-market strategies and overall messaging for the product line.
Responsible for the development of marketing & business development strategy. Other specific responsibilities include:
Management of key accounts and programs in a business development portfolio
Execution of approved business development plans
Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product
Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to key partners
Participation in development of forecasts & revenue planning
Direct coordination with Program Management
Participation in design review, program review and stage gate process
Input into the product line life cycle
Trade Show planning & attendance
3+ years of Product Marketing, Business Development / Sales experience in a high-technology sector
2+ years of commercial motion tracking industry preferred
A plus is experience with the U.S. Department of Defense (PEO-STRI is a plus)
Demonstrated ability to be successful in achieving business growth objectives with minimum management oversight
Qualified candidates must have excellent written and verbal communications skills with experience managing small teams, setting business growth objectives and achieving results
U.S. Citizenship is required. The applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
MBA or related Master's Degree is strongly preferred
This position requires substantial domestic and international travel (~50%)
Position will be based in Billerica, MA.
