Experience in the Pharmacy Benefits Management is a must.
We are a small PBM that manages 150,000 lives that is going to be growing substantially over the next 5years.
The Account Manager/Executive builds and maintains strong and positive client relationships ensuring customer satisfaction, growth and retention for assigned clients. The Account Manager/Executive will effectively lead the account service team for these clients in regards to strategic plan on a day-to-day basis, focusing on service, revenue and operational efficiency initiatives. They will manage a book of business in pursuit of fiscal revenue targets as set by management and develop and manage the account team annual strategic plan for assigned book of business to address all aspects of client lifecycle, including but not limited to service, financial, growth and clinical initiatives based on an understanding of each client's business needs. In addition, they will ensure a high degree of client satisfaction and retention through demonstrable results and by effectively leading the service team to achieve client service goals. They will effectively utilize Company forums and resources to proactively address client needs, escalate issues where appropriate and will provide timely feedback of strategic plan performance and outcomes to management ensuring service and growth opportunities are maximized and incorporated into the organizational strategy planning process. Also this individual will provide oversight of projects and client initiatives and assist in the interpretation and context of client requests.
The successful candidate will manage the client renewal process, including participation in development and review of proposal of pricing terms in lieu of the fiscal revenue plan, mitigate organizational risks with respect to performance guarantees, and unveil opportunities for Company product usage as well as client growth and expansion. They will lead renewal presentations and will utilize all internal pro-forma financial tools and forums to ensure preparedness and success. In addition, they will support the implementation process for assigned clients, including oversight of implementation and contract terms and will maintain the integrity of the annual strategic business plan and manage the fiscal revenue plan. As a key player, they will need to negotiate and manage the client contract throughout the lifecycle of the account and will build strong and positive internal relationships with their account service matrix team in order to realize the full potential of the assigned book of business. This individual will coordinate with Company subject matter experts to increase knowledge of Company products, services, and industry information to be incorporated into and strengthen client relationship. It is important that the Account Manager be responsible for organizing and leading client business planning meetings, quarterly and annual executive pharmacy briefings, client leadership councils and internal team strategy planning discussions and will support and assist in sales and prospect presentations. In addition, the incumbent will support and assist in sales and prospect presentations as well as develop and maintain effective relationships with client consultants as appropriate. Also they will demonstrate proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint, organizational web-based tools in support of these functions.
For consideration candidates will need a minimum of --- or equivalent and three (3) to five (5) years related experience in a PBM environment, or equivalent combination of education and job related experience. Experience with TPA's, Brokers, Employers Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
Managed Care: Experience in the Managed Care Benefits arena, preferably with a "PBM" or other managedhealthcare services to national and regional managed care organizations, insurance companies, and/or other health related entities. Experience with Medicaid and Medicare a plus.
To perform this job successfully an individual should have outstanding knowledge of the health benefits arena, preferably in pharmacy benefits management "PBM" or other managedhealthcare services to national and regional managed care organizations, insurance companies, and other health related entities.
