As part of the Regional Accounts Team, you will support pharmaceutical and biotech accounts ensuring value creation for the customer and MilliporeSigma. You will manage projects and resources to ensure long term profitable growth while achieving your sales targets that contribute to overall corporate sales and strategic objectives. You will deal with products, applications and pricing questions in a manner which will increase the company's market presence, emphasize differentiation from MilliporeSigma s competitors and build upon the company's reputation for excellence.



Account Responsibilities:

Know and be known by your Accounts. Anticipate the customer s needs and identify ways to fulfill these with appropriate products and services. Inform, train and influence customers. Demonstrate solid account profiling skills including the ability to develop a detailed account strategy, develop strong networks and have an understanding of industry dynamics. To act as a lead in a team when presenting solutions (including products and services or managing projects). Provide, when requested, an accurate (realistic) forecast of the projected territory orders. Develop and execute a detailed business plan for growth in revenues.

Achieve Budget Territory:



Ensure that the quarterly target is achieved, by gaining market share (e.g. competitive conversions, customer expansions, etc.), maintaining market share (e.g. process optimization, timely reaction to customer inquiries, etc.) and seeding of new MilliporeSigma products in the customer s pipeline.



Qualifications:

Skills and competencies:

Bachelor s Degree (preferably in a Life Science)

Fluent English required

5+ years plus proven technical (sales) experience acquired within a pharmaceutical environment is advantageous

Previous experience in a drug manufacturing / biotech company would also be an advantage

Customer focused, strong communicator

Self-motivated, assertive, takes initiative and works independently

Proactive and decisive personality

Team player

Flexible and willing to travel within territory (with occasional overnight stays) to optimize customer engagement
