JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY SEARCH Group Partners, a premier recruiting firm, is seeking ACCOUNT MANAGER for Salt Lake City, UT based Benefit Broker Company. The account manager position acts as the primary client relationship manager with responsibility for all account servicing. Attains commitment of resources required to keep client project on track, following up to ensure commitments are kept and accomplishments realized. Serves as the project leader on activities required for a smooth takeover and/or implementation of new business. Identifies and communicates opportunities for cross-sell.
HERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU\'LL LIKELY FIND YOURSELF DOING IN THIS ROLE...
Manages the delivery of services and the day-to-day client needs to retain accounts, to establish strong client relationships and achieve high levels of client satisfaction.
Maintains and expands client relationships by analyzing, communicating and identifying coverage gaps to increase cross-selling with the consultant and/or broker.
Manages escalated participant issues working directly with the insurance carrier/TPA regarding systemic or process issues.
Handles more complex client issues and makes recommendations by utilizing client service and administration expertise.
Assesses claim and billing trends and potential risk, elevates to management. Develops solutions to correct situations and prevent reoccurrence.
Implements a timeline for the communication of the client's program to its employees, members or owners.
Maintains frequent contact with clients to assist with client needs and questions
Prepares for and regularly attends client meetings with producers and consultants
Performs detailed review of all client contracts, summary plan descriptions, insurance certificates, employee communications, and SBCs
Troubleshoots all medical, dental, vision, life, LTD claim and billing issues
Performs research and review of multiple resources as needed to respond to questions
HERE\'S WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE...
Associates degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years related experience, preferably in the insurance industry
Must possess a state insurance license.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Sound reasoning and judgment
Proven use and understanding of Microsoft Office
Must be able to use Excel extensively in analysis and daily reporting of departmental goals.
Technically savvy and proficient with ongoing improvements in enrollment processes.
Ability to consistently facilitate and attend work, meetings and required training or staff events.
