Agilent recently acquired iLab Solutions. iLab is a leader in web-based solutions for core laboratory management, serving top research institutions across the globe.
This position is with the iLab team.
Responsible for selling iLab s suite of products in designated region(s) via web conference
and/or in person
sales meetings . This responsibility includes the following:
collaboration w/ Marketing on lead generation;
giving product demonstrations to potential clients;
developing price proposals and contracts, negotiating price and project plans;
navigate complex purchasing environments;
ongoing support and relationship management with closed accounts.
Attend conferences on iLab s behalf as an exhibitor with the main goal of manning iLab s
booth but may also include giving product demonstrations and/or presentations.
Assist in determining and setting organization/company strategic direction, providing
suggestions or taking leadership in organization/company business practices, and providing
feedback on the performance of fellow team members.
3+ years of experience in sales or research related field
Bachelor s degree, or comparable experience
Ability to quickly grasp customer requirements and propose creative solutions
Outstanding communication and organizational skills
Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem solving skills
Ability to build and foster good relationships
Ability to balance competing priorities
Team oriented perspective
Geo Location: Boston, MA - Northeast US Territory (will consider candidates located in the northeast territory)
