Job Description

Currently seeking an experienced Account Manager candidate, located in the Upper Midwest (Michigan, Indiana, ,Illinois and Wisconsin) area to help support Service Provider, WEP. The position is for an Account Manager that has a minimum 5 years related sales or systems experience in the industry and ensures achievement of revenue and growth targets. We have a great Team and are looking for a top flight addition. Responsibilities include identifying, qualifying, proposing and closing new Service Provider opportunities within assigned Accounts. Responsible for direct management of multiple existing active and dormant key accounts to include-marketing of Cisco hardware/software/service offerings. Responsibilities also include customer satisfaction, and overall accountability for business growth within account base. Strong skills in prospecting, replacing an incumbent, and protecting the installed base is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of a process for managing a territory as well as for managing large accounts, including forecasting, quota attainment, sales presentations, short-term, mid-term, and long-term opportunity management essential. Strong skills and experience in working with Channel Partners. Experience with team selling approach a must. Must have the ability to deliver business value to customers and build on customer relationships. Strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand the customers business drivers and align to Cisco solution essential. Experience in engaging resources including the Business Units to drive sales necessary. Demonstrate the necessary skills to negotiate issues with peers, partners and customers using a Win/Win philosophy. Position end to end solutions and articulate architectural strategies to senior customer executives is essential. Must be an aggressive self-starter with ability to build executive relationships, articulate Cisco product and business strategies, create the demand and close deals. Five years of direct selling experience. Ability to demonstrate sound knowledge of Cisco products/solutions in IP space, to include Voice, Security, IP, Data Center, Storage and Wireless markets.
