Overview:

This position is responsible for the integrity of the International Accounts Receivable for PJI and subsidiaries which includes reporting to management, contacts with the franchisees and control of the international tax receipts. The position will make recommendations for improvement in handling the International Accounts Receivable as well as coordinate monthly International AR meetings with all stakeholders. Maintain all special payment arrangements as agreed to by the appropriate parties. Position will work with the Senior Director of International Finance for resolution of problem customers. This position will also be responsible for the control of the daily direct debit process as well as account analysis for Retail reserves. In addition, the position will take a lead on PeopleSoft testing for upgrades and patch applications for Billing and AR to ensure a managed environment.

What's on the Menu:

* Prepare the monthly international AR reports for franchisees and corporate stakeholders.
* Evaluate and implement changes to the reporting processes as needed.
* Review and ensure AR system reflects any allowed AR policy exceptions.
* Coordinate the monthly International AR meeting.
* Facilitate communication between the VP of Corporate Finance, Senior Director of International Finance, International Business Managers, Internal Business Units and International Franchisees.
* Maintain international tax receipts register to ensure accuracy for tax filing.
* Control the daily ACH processing to ensure accurate withdrawal of funds from domestic franchisee bank accounts.
* Review daily Int'l wires providing detailed information to International Business Units and Cash team.
* Coordinate testing for the billing and receivables module with team to ensure adequate testing and controls.
* Provide assistance and expertise as required by General Accounting on account reconcilement.
* Work on special projects as needed.

Critical Ingredients:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
* Three to four years of accounts receivable experience required
* International business experience a plus
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
* Significant knowledge of complex Accounts Receivables processes
* Strong computer skills - Word, Excel, Access, PeopleSoft Financials

An equivalent combination of experience and training may substitute for any of the listed position qualifications.
