Under minimal supervision: Provide research & analytical support for accounting statistical reports and metrics. Work closely with senior and executive management on special projects and analyses of credit union financial reporting. Department liaison / representative for both internal & external credit union projects and implementations of inter-departmental initiatives. Prepares and interprets financial statements and related reports in conformance with generally accepted accounting principles.
BA/BS degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university is required. Minimum 2 years accounting experience required. CPA required or actively pursuing requirements to become a CPA. This position requires a highly motivated individual with demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, very strong communication skills (both verbal and written), strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to organize work, multi-task efficiently and work independently with minimal supervision. Sitting and/or standing for extended periods, repetitive keystrokes, frequent lifting of reports and supply bag (maximum weight 15 pounds), must be able to see, hear, type, & speak English.
