POSITION SUMMARY: This US Grain Accountant position will get exposure to many aspects of Bunge’s Grain business. The position will mark inventory and contracts to market, and prepare balance sheet reconciliations. The US Grain Accountant will also take the departmental lead on Trintech and reconcile intercompany mark to market activity. The position will work alongside colleagues on the annual Bunge SCF Grain audit. Preparing and analyzing management reports will be a monthly responsibility. Clear communication with colleagues across multiple business functions and operating countries is integral. Bunge is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minorities/Women/Veterans/DisabledESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Fully participate and assist in facilitating a timely and accurate month-end closing process• Manage assigned general accounting processes, including mark to market calculations and analysis, preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling intercompany mark to market gains/losses and executing other closing tasks and controls as assigned• Responsible for review of assigned balance sheet reconciliations including adequate procedures and processes to ensure no material cross period adjustments• Generate applicable analysis and reports to divisional, regional, and location management to provide clarity, understanding and explanations of monthly financial results (EBIT, Margins, Inventory Adjustments, etc.)• Promote and facilitate department Trintech updates and enhancements• Be an engaged business partner to location commercial and operations team• Other job duties as assigned


• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; 2-4 years’ experience in the agribusiness industry with understanding of commodity accounting and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) related to the commodity business • SAP FICO core competency and/or GTM preferred• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written• Self starter with strong commitment to continuous learning• Strong problem solving, analytical and organization skills• Detail oriented• Occasional travel; overtime required during month end close
