Description: A reputable company in the Columbia area is seeking a qualified accounting/financial analyst!
As the Accounting Clerk/Budget Analyst, you will be responsible for:
-Data entry of accounts payable and deposits
-Data entry and posting of journal entries
-Maintaining accurate records
-Completing documentation for all transactions
-Operating the office?s custom computer database
-Assisting with month-end closing, account reconciliation and the preparation of financial statements
Qualified Candidates will possess:
-A strong ability to multi-task
-Superior written and oral communication skills
-Basic word processing skills
-Excellent problem solving skills
-A ?Can-Do? attitude
-A customer service oriented personality
-Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related field
-A Bachelor?s degree in accounting or related field of study
-Experience working with computer database systems
-High level proficiency in spreadsheet applications, Microsoft Excel and Access
-Proficient knowledge and experience in Quickbooks PRO, preferred but not required
-Knowledge and experience working with general ledger computerized accounting systems
