Superior Group is seeking an Accounting Assistant for our client located in Cape Canaveral, FL for an open-ended contract opportunity.
Provide accounting-related administrative support for the accounting service center and has primary responsibility for several government customer billings and associated accounting functions.
Prepare and trouble shoot government customer invoices, manually and in a Deltek Costpoint accounting system.
Enter daily and monthly journal entries.
Prepare various accounting, financial and cost analyses for review by project accountants.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
Minimum of three years' experience as an Accounting Clerk.
Minimum of three years' experience with government invoices and voucher processing.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Strong proficiency with MS Office
Deltek or Costpoint experience a plus
