Coordinate cross-functional workflows required for effective and efficient ?deduction management? process with a specific set of customers. Serve as the primary customer contact in the area of deduction resolution. Continuously improve process performance by identifying and
eliminating root causes of problems.
1. Work with Brokers, CSR?s, DC?s, Master Files and A/R to coordinate the deduction resolution process and reduce deduction causes.
2. Improve existing processes, or design and implement new ones, to reduce causes of deductions, and/or enhance internal efficiencies.
3. Manage deduction resolution process via the following activities:
Perform minor adjustment write-offs
Maintain status codes for open deductions
Analyze deductions to determine cause and validity
Proactively work with customers and Sales counterparts to eliminate causes of unnecessary deductions
Expense valid deductions
Work with Sales/brokers to determine resolution path for invalid deductions
Write collection letters to customers
Work with DC?s to obtain proof of deliver and track as necessary
Develop and maintain customer remittance keys in cooperation with CSR?s, brokers and cash application
Manage deduction documentation flow
