JOB DESCRIPTIONTerrific opportunity for a professional individual ready to move ahead in a great career. As an Accounting Assistant for this prestigious, stable, Fortune 500 Real Estate/Property Management company, you will be responsible for:
?Perform a variety of routine and non-routine clerical/accounting functions.
?Work with AP, AR, trust accounting, collections, finance, and payroll department.
?Reconcile bank accounts, posts information and balances general or subsidiary ledgers, processes payment and compiles segments of monthly closings, and annual reports.
?Contacts other departments, customers, and/or outside agencies to resolve problems.
- Applies basic skills and procedures appropriate for the position within assigned functional area. Entry level position, but some business experience required
- Moderate Excel skills (comfortable with formulas such as Vlookup and pivot tables preferred), Oracle or similar system experience preferred
