JOB DESCRIPTIONAdecco is currently assisting a local client in their search for an Accounting Clerk in Bradford, PA. This is a temporary to hire opportunity. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!
Responsibilities for this (insert title) job include:
. Assisting with monthly and annual inventories and HFI reconciliation
. Completing Month-end close journals and deadlines
.Assisting Controller with forecasting, weekly cost-ops updates and annual budgeting
. Managing front-office duties and projects as assigned by the Controller or Plant manager
.Providing back up support to the payroll function
.3-5 years experience in general accounting
.Proficient with SAP, Microsoft Excel
.Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to seek resources as needed
.An approach to work that includes initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy and discretion
.Demonstrated integrity, maturity, professionalism, and sensitivity
Bachelors Degree in accounting and knowledge of SOX guidelines is also preferred.
