Consider joining this Portland-Based construction company as an Accounting Clerk. This position is targeting candidates that have at least two years of Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, and General Accounting experience. This person will be responsible for handling day to day responsibilities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, general ledger maintenance and special projects. This is a contract to hire opportunity paying up to 47k on an annual basis br B /B br B As an Accounting clerk, your job duties will include: /B br ul
li Managing accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing /li li Create financial statements and related financial reports /li li Reconcile bank account, credit card account and petty cash account /li li Collect and organize information for annual audit /li li Maintain system of accounts with filing system /li li Monitor cash levels, prepared bank deposits /li li Reimburse expense reports /li /ul
B /B br B As the best candidate for this position, you should have: /B br ul
li Two years of general accounting experience, including A/P and reconciliations /li li Experience with office management /li li Experience in the building or construction industry is helpful /li li Understanding of debits and credits /li li Strong Microsoft Excel Skills are desired /li li Someone who has high attention to detail and high level of accuracy /li li Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment /li /ul
