This individual will be responsible for the management and supervision of Payroll, Accounts Payables and reconciliation of General Ledger accounts.
Will be responsible for timely and accurate data going into and out of Payroll, Accounts Payables, and General ledger. Responsibilities to include staff supervision, training, documentation of work process/procedures, interface into the General Ledger, and reconciliation of appropriate GL accounts. Monitor systems to insure compliance with GAAP and legal requirements, benchmark performance, maintain statistics of performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
Supervise Payroll staff to insure timely and accurate payments to employees, tax authorities, and other agencies. Monitor and maintain payroll systems which includes all new set ups/updates and reporting. Insure payroll data is interfaced to the GL and provide reconciliation support for GL accounts impacted by Payroll.
Oversee A/P Department. Monitor and maintain A/P Modules, including recurring invoices. Supervise invoice processes and payments. Reconcile A/P Aging to G/L Balance at Month End. Responsible for Month End closing , procedures and issuing 1099?s.
Reconcile related G/L Accounts and explain all variances.

Must have a B.S. in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field. Master?s degree and CPA a plus.
