li Ensures that the company's financial management principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced and maintained. /li li Assures that the necessary financial review and analysis is taking place while working directly with functional leaders and senior management. /li li Consults with all segments of management to ensure maximization of all financial levers. Makes recommendations for improving the effectiveness of policy or practices. /li li Acts within scope of authority and consistent with company and corporate objectives, ensuring optimum performance of the function. Recommends and implements techniques to improve profitability, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art practices. /li li Assumes other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as directed. /li /ul
br Key Duties: br br ul
li Ensure that monthly closings and financial reporting are completed on schedule. /li li Finalize all actionable requirements relating to monthly close process, inclusive of journal entries, account analysis, travel expense analysis, and purchase price variance review /li li Ensure monthly balance sheet review and accrual analysis is performed within monthly deliverable dates. /li li Ensure bank reconciliations, as well as inter-company reconciliations with both US and parent company, are performed monthly and finalized. /li li Maintain payroll and benefit reporting. /li li Maintain accounting system; troubleshoot and resolve all issues. /li li Variance analysis -- standard costs, transactional issues, pricing. /li li Annual audit -- provide all necessary support and schedules to parent company staff and external auditors as required for both financial and tax audits. /li li Develop and monitor annual budget process. /li li Recommend financial policies and internal controls. /li /ul

li Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required. CPA required. Master's degree preferred. /li li Minimum 5 -- 7 years accounting experience /li /ul
