span Fortune 500 company looking for a great candidate for an Accounting Operations Manager position. br   br B Title: /B Accounting Operations Manager br B Location: /B Half Moon Bay, CA 94019 br B Salary: /B will discuss over the phone if qualified br B Description: /B br · Performs a variety of accounting, payroll, tax and bookkeeping services for businesses and individuals. br · Assists with providing advice, delivering advice products and client based products. br · Identifies opportunities to increase the level of service provided to businesses and business owners as their requirements become more complex. br · Applies principles of accounting (GAAP) to analyze client financial information and prepare financial reports. br · Preparation of corporations, businesses, trusts and individual tax returns. br · Oversight of staff’s preparation of taxes, financial statements, payroll and bookkeeping. br · Responsible for monitoring and coordinating the timely financial statement preparation and review for clients including journal entries and financial statement analysis. br B ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – /B br · Responsibilities could pertain to any area of accounting, such as: general ledger, tax, accounts payable, payroll, etc. br · Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions. br · Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and equity. Prepare balance sheet, profit and loss statements, and other reports to summarize current and projected clients’ financial position and results. br · Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for the tax office. br · Other duties as assigned. br B Education /B br · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field –OR- equivalent combination of education and experience br · CPA designation preferred br B Minimum Requirements /B br · Minimum of 5 years accounting experience and personnel management br · Knowledge of GAAP br · Leadership and supervisory skills to guide and develop associates br · Ability to develop and maintain effective client and employee relationships br · Knowledge of integrated online accounting applications br · Knowledge of sales and payroll tax laws, payroll practices and applicable regulations. br · Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills br · Demonstrated critical thinking skills br · Ability to handle multiple tasks and project simultaneously with minimal supervision br · Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines br · Proficiency in MS Word and Excel including ability to use macros, pivot tables, and query br · Ability to navigate internet br B   /B br B If qualified, please apply today! /B br /span
