Description:
North Star is Alaska s premier behavioral health
provider that specialized in helping young people with

adolescents deserve.
We are currently searching for a Accounts Payable Clerk
to join our established team.
The purpose of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to maintain
all vendor files, process all payments and accurately
code all invoices.
JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:
1. Accurately codes and inputs A/P invoices, verifying
batches for accuracy.
2. Maintains A/P records and files.
3. Maintains contract files and complies with contract
payment policies.
4. Reviews invoices for proper authorization, accuracy,
etc.
5. Processes employee expense reports and AP Checks
Requests.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITON:
* Must be able to complete new hire requirements such
as State of Alaska Background Check and Drug
Testing.
* Must be able to demonstrate special training,
knowledge and skills specific to age groups, as well
as job and/or program specific competency within the
first(3) months of training.
* Must complete all mandatory in-services annually.
* Must be tested for Tuberculosis with a PPD skin
test or chest x-ray upon hire; PPD skin test
required annually or chest x-ray annually thereafte
* Ability to accurately perform work of a detailed
nature
* Ability to meet work deadlines
* Ability to perform assignments with minimal
supervision;
* Ability to work successfully under highly stressful
conditions;
* Ability to make sound, independent judgments based
on scientific and/or ethical principles;
* Capability of adapting to varying workloads and
work assignments on a constant basis;
* Effective comprehensive reading skills, strong
communication skills, written and verbal.
* Must have a working knowledge of computers
* High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree
preferred.
