span Accounting Principals is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to work a contract-to-hire position in the Hunt Valley, Maryland area. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience processing a high volume of invoices and purchase orders. Some accounting software experience is also preferred. br   br Responsibilities include: br   br • Matching purchase orders, receiving documents and invoices br • Batching invoices br • Code invoices for proper allocation br • Process manual checks br • Prepare aging schedules or schedule invoices for payment br • Maintaining vendor contact br • Reconciling A/P to the general ledger br   br The ideal candidate will possess: br • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business management or related field br • 2 years or more of relatable experience br • Strong communication and analytical problem solving abilities br • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel br   br The Accounts Payable Clerk position is a great opportunity for a dedicated accounting professional to take the next step in their career.
