Huitt-Zollars, a leading engineering and architectural firm has an immediate opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in its Dallas office. The successful candidate should be detail oriented, and have the ability to work alone and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:


Enter approved invoices in accounts payable system


Coding of all payable invoices


Review all invoices to ensure that the applicable sales or use tax is in compliance


Mailing checks to vendors


Maintain an orderly filing system


Communicate with vendors regarding status of payment


Filing of 1099's and obtaining W9's from vendors


Property tax renditions



Requirements:


3-5 years of experience


High School Diploma or GED


Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Adobe


Ability to problem solve


Ability to cross-train on various tasks


Ability to work alone and with a team


Good time management
