Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports. Review applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy. Manages a staff of clerks and reports to the controller. br br B Key Responsibilities /B br br ul
li Accountable for building, standardizing and maintaining accounts payable processes throughout the business operating model /li /ul
li Responsible for the end-to-end strategic and transactional accounts payable processes as it relates to finance, operations, people, technology, data and performance /li /ul
li Manage accounts payable functions including supplier management/administration, invoice receipt and processing, payment processing/ disbursements, reconciliations, employee travel and expenses /li /ul
li Oversee the 1099 filing process /li /ul
br B Requirements: /B br br ul
li Bachelor’s Degree /li li A minimum of 10 years of accounting experience specifically in accounts payable /li li Strong interpersonal skills Strong analysis, problem solving and decision making skills /li li Strong dispute resolution and mediation skills to handle issue escalation and resolution /li li Must have 1099 fling experience /li li PowerPoint and Excel proficiency /li /ul
