JOB DESCRIPTION

The Accounts Receivable coordinator will be responsible for tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues and generate weekly aging reports in a timely manner. The candidate must have knowledge of general accounting principles and be proficient at MS Office (especially Excel). The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask and be a strong communicator.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make daily collection calls.
*

Conduct account research and analysis.
*

Prepare and maintain various reports, including an accurate aging report.
*

Identify and execute the necessary process adjustments.
*

Send statement to outstanding customers.
*

Reconcile A/R to the G/L.
*

Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
*

Monitor lockbox vendor and transactions.
*

Enter check payment information into database.
*

Verify accuracy of payments entered.
*

Produce invoices and back up documentation.
*

Performs other administrative duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Qualifications:

*

College degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent experience.
*

3+ years' experience within the AR/Finance function.
*

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
*

Exceptional Excel skills.
*

Adept written and verbal communication skills.
*

Communicates information and ideas clearly, shares information broadly and listens carefully.
*

Quick learner and self-starter who has the ability to work independently or within a team environment.
*

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with strong organizational skills.
*

Detail oriented and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
*

Highly self-motivated, professional, take-charge attitude.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work effectively and independently in high volume production environments.
