We have a great opportunity with a local transportation and logistics company for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. To be the best fit for this entry level position, you should have your Associates or Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field, and one year of experience working in an office setting. Strong Excel skills are also must for this position. In this role, you will gain experience with a tier one ERP system and grow your abilities on a daily basis. li Review and research unapplied Funds on receipts and overpayments on invoices /li li Resolve unapplied Funds, research methods to include pulling batches to review detail, customer contact or working with Collections /li li Assist Cash Applications as needed in applying new remittances to invoices /li li Utilize system resources to aid research, including WAVE, Objectview and Oracle /li li Collaborate with internal and external parties to identify and reconcile issues /li /ul
B /B br B As our ideal candidate, you should have: /B br ul
li Bachelors or Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance /li li One year of accounts receivable experience required /li li Strong Microsoft Excel skills required /li li Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills /li li Reliable and follows direction /li li Knowledge of freight bills and freight terms /li /ul
