The Supervisor Corp. Financial Svc. works closely with the Medicaid Collections leaders and team to ensure compliance with changing state Medicaid regulations relating to pricing, pharmacy, clearance, collection and billing topics. Ensures monitoring of state Medicaid websites to determine changes in regulations, and update appropriate data elements on the Accredo Medicaid Intranet site. Review and Validate update requests and Requests for Pricing Updates (RFPU s) and other items as required by Medicaid team. Responsible for ensuring timely review of all Medicaid correspondence, bulletins and Alerts, evaluate impact to business and communicate changes to appropriate internal work streams.
Validate and update recommended change requests to Medicaid Intranet Site (Wavy Flag Site) completed by Accredo Associates. Ensure information is valid for each data point. Ensure timely updates as per set state review schedule (monthly or quarterly) Recommend additional data points and updates to site as needed as well as review formatting for consistency. Monitor traffic and usage of site as well as review feedback on site from all departments
Ensure monitoring of the Medicaid Correspondence Mailbox, State Bulletin and State web sites to determine relevance of information; evaluate impact on work streams and communicate changes. Ensure Billing/Reimbursement Associates are updating pricing and Wavy Flag Site when updates are needed per correspondence
Review Request For Pricing Updates submitted by the Billing/Reimbursement Associates. Ensure timely updates and reviews of pricing changes based on state schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly), as well as validate pricing requests for accuracy. Submit RFPU s to BA team timely after validation. Ensure dispensed drug list is distributed monthly to all Medicaid Billing/Reimbursement Associates
Review monthly Quality and Quantity Audits from the Quality and Compliance team and review and discuss with Medicaid Billing/Reimbursement Associates monthly
Bachelor s degree in related field
2-5 years of relevant work experience or 0-2 years of relevant work experience with a Master s degree
Proficient in Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel and Sharepoint.
Must be detail oriented, organized and be able to effectively prioritize workload.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all work streams and work independently.
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and Government Managed Care programs and all aspects of Revenue Cycle Management preferred
Ability to review , understand and communicate Rules and Regulations as related to Federal, State and Government programs
Knowledge of pricing methodology and pricing sources including but not limited to AWP, ASP,FUL, AAC, NADAC, WAC, Medispan
